Character Matters in Greenville, SC
We are a group of concerned citizens from diverse backgrounds who are committed to supporting programs that build the character of our young people and institutions. The "six pillars" of character form the context and objectives of Character Matters.
The six pillars of character are trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness, caring, and citizenship (adopted from the national organization CHARACTER COUNTS!). Preservation of character is dependent upon the implementation of these tenets.
